New York Legal Publishing Corporation (NYLP) hereby grants to Subscriber a nontransferable license during the term of the annual subscription purchased by Subscriber. Subscriber may retrieve data from NYLP and may copy and store information in the normal course of business. Subscriber agrees not to access the service by any means other than through the interface that is provided by NYLP for use in accessing the service and agrees not to provide access codes to unauthorized parties. Subscriber acknowledges and agrees that NYLP's web site service and any necessary software or program used in connection with the service contains proprietary information that is protected by applicable proprietary intellectual property and other laws. Subscriber agrees not to copy nor license, sell, transfer or otherwise distribute the Content to any unauthorized person or party. NYLP reserves the right to either suspend ones access to this site or not grant one the right to access the site without qualification.

Regarding CD-ROM acquisition:

Services provided through use of a CD-ROM program contain proprietary information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. NYLP grants you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive right to use one copy of the program on a single computer. You may not use or permit use of the program on more than one computer, computer terminal, or workstation at the same time unless a network license is purchased. You may not make copies of the materials accompanying the program or make copies of the program or any part of the program. You may not copy the program onto a hard drive or other device and you must run the program from the CD ROM. You may not use the program or permit use of the program on an electronic bulletin board system or other remote access arrangement. You may not (and may not allow a third party to) copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble or otherwise attempt to discover any source code in the program. You may not rent, lease, sell, assign, sublease, grant a security interest in or otherwise transfer any right in the program.
